Here are some pictures of an iPod 4 touch that has had the LCD connector on board damaged, this connection is quite easy to damage when replacing the screen, below is a picture of the connector removed ready for the new one to be soldered in place
Once it’s removed the new connector can be sat in place and soldered in, once it’s soldered in we fully test the iPod and seal it all up again ready for collection, below is the new connector soldered in place
The cost of having your connector replaced, the new screen fitted and everything tested is £40 ( customer supplies screen)
