Just a few more days remain before Apple launches the eagerly awaited iPhone 5 assuming that the reports are not false. The event is of great significance to all Apple stakeholders since more than 50% of the revenue is contributed by the smartphone sales and dealings. The timing of the release has become just perfect for the Cupertino based trend-setters with the court verdict regarding Samsung’s patent infringements.

iPhone 5 Expected Release Date:

Usually, Apple send out the invites for the event a week before the big day so they should reach the relevant people by 5th September. Last year, the iPhone was made available within two weeks of the launch, following the same trend, Apple has announced 12th September as release date this year too .Verizon and AT&T have also stopped employees going on vacations from 21st September on-wards.

iPad Mini and iPhone 5 Not Being Released Together?

It is likely that Apple will not undermine the iPhone 5 by having another device share the release platform and therefore iPad Mini will be released a month later. However, we are definitely going to learn a great deal about the iOS 6.0 and how it brings the new iPhone to life. We will not have a clear idea of what other products will be launched until the invites reach us. One peripheral improvement we may witness is the introduction of the new Apple ear buds. According to alleged leaked images, the headphones are no longer circular in shape, slightly smaller in size and could be connected to two speaker ports.

IPhone 5 – To Be Released Amongst Crazy Social Channels and Lawsuits:

Once the sun rises for iPhone 5, you can expect social media channels to go wild as the specs are made public. Majority of the tech blogs will be giving live updates as the unveiling progresses and the user interest can be expected to be sky high. Some may feel that so many leaked features and images have made the launch less exciting but it is totally another feeling to watch the real thing debut. However, all of it may not turn out to be smooth sailing though as Samsung are preparing to file a lawsuit against the new iPhone for incorporating the Japanese’s company’s patent on 4G LTE technology. Few sources claim that this could even push the launch date back if the court accepts Samsung’s case. This could disgust Apple’s users who are already quite disappointed ever since the iPhone 4S was release instead of iPhone 5.
