The next thing to check after testing the filters is the diodes and coils, the iPad 4 has two backlight circuits which explains why sometimes you have a half dim screen on iPad 4 , first of all test the diodes with a diode tester to see if these are good,  (if you are unsure how to test then leave a comment and i will help) then test the coil for continuity and resistance, (again if unsure how to test then leave a comment) sometimes coils can appear to be ok but once voltage goes through them, they blow open so its best to replace these to make sure.
