We all know that Apple introduced iPhone 5 and the latest iOS 6 last month that brought so many new features. Just like the previous version, iOS 6 also brought over 200 new features including Apple’s own navigation and mapping application and so much more. Apple has also improved Siri in the iOS 6 and now you can get smarter answers from the virtual personal assistant on your iPhone. But the Siri is still exclusive to the latest iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S and older devices are still not able to get Siri service on their smartphone.

So, usually many people try to get Siri on their older device by jailbreaking it, which is a convenient but a little complex way. Of course it can get very frustrating because it is a very complicated process and no regular smartphone user can do it right. Well, it seems like we have a solution for all those users, if you have an iPhone4 you can get SiriPort that will allow you to run Siri on iPhone4.

Procedure

Here we are going to tell you how to use SiriPort to run Siri on your iPhone4. First of all you have to jailbreak your iPhone4 and install Cydia.

You can Jailbreak your device by following tutorials available on the internet and you can use tools like Redsn0w, Sn0wbreeze and others to do so. Once you have successfully jailbroken your device, you have to add a new source mentioned below in the app:

http://repo.siriport.ru

After you have added this new repository, open it and you will have to find a package saying SiriPort (Original) iOS 6. Now tap this package and install it. After you have installed SiriPort on your device, now you have to go the Settings app and at the end you will find SiriPort (Original). Tap on it and a new panel will open, click on the option saying install certificate. Now a new safari page will open, tap on install certificate and then tap OK.

After that a new profile screen will appear where you have tap install first then again tap install on the right corner. Again tap done and close the Safari page, that’s it. You have successfully installed Siri on your iPhone4. Now all you need to do is just hold the home button and Siri will appear and ask for anything. In case this does not work, we suggest you to reboot your device and try again.
