Well, our talented Android developers and enthusiasts are always working on a fix for such problems and this one is not an exception either. As we have found out that one the members at XDA Developers, felixchris was able to find a fix to this WiFi roaming bug found in the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone.

You have to keep in mind that the Galaxy S III has three different WiFi roaming bugs but the solution we are going to discuss here today will be solving one of those three. According to Felix Chris, when you take your device closer to AP2 and its signal strength increases and at the same time the WiFi icon disappears and reappears just like that, then you are really facing one of the WiFi roaming bugs and he has brought a quick and effective solution for this problem.

Now, to apply this patch there are several ways available and you can choose any of them. First one, which is also the long one, will require you to boot a custom recovery while you can choose the other method and flash a zip in the custom recovery to solve your WiFi roaming issue. Both are pretty effective but the first one will take a little longer than the second one, but choice is yours.

We all know that how important WiFi has become in our daily lives as most of us cannot afford the expensive data packages. So, that is the reason why most of the users mostly rely on WiFi connections when they are at Home or Work. Galaxy S III is a great device but if it features problems with the WiFi connectivity, which is one of the most basic and important need of the users, then something really needs to be done to fix that.
