We all know that iPhone 5 is a very good looking device and currently it is also one of the most selling smartphones of the year. iPhone 5 is now almost over seven weeks old and still Apple is facing so much difficulty in maintaining the stocks of the device. iPhone 5 is the first iPhone that comes with a larger screen of 4 inches while the previous iPhone versions came with the regular 3.5 inch display screen.

More Durable & Repairable

In addition to the larger display screen, iPhone 5 also offers a unibody design which is also used first time in the iPhone. Previously, the iPhone 4 and 4S came with the back made of glass but this time, iPhone 5 is more durable than its predecessors because of the aluminum used in its back plate. Now, it seems like iPhone 5 is more durable as well as repairable. According to the latest reports, we have found out that Apple is planning on starting a new system in which the employees at Apple stores will be able to fix the broken iPhone 5 displays right in the store which is a great progress from their previous policies.

It is great news for so many iPhone 5 owners in all around the world. It will bring so much convenience to all those users as they will be able to get their broken iPhone screens fixed at their local Apple stores in no time. Apparently, Apple has sent out all the equipment and tools that are required to replace the broken iPhone 5 display screens.

Cost Not Known Yet

Well, currently, we don’t know how much the replacing of the broken iPhone screen will cost. In our opinion Apple may add this service in its AppleCare+ plan that costs $99. Of course if Apple decides to charge for the broken screen separately, it should not be more expensive than a new phone.

The report has been verified and we are pretty sure that soon such service will be available to the consumers at their local Apple stores around the world. You have to keep in mind that due to the uni body design of the iPhone 5, it will be almost impossible to remove the back cover of the device. Apparently some of the parts of the body are attached to the back of the device which will make it very difficult to detach.
